Changes to my study programme

I started to study architecture this year, so I think I would have to wait a little bit longer to give an opinion about the career and the university. However, there are things I can say.

Before I decided that I wanted to study in this university I spent time reading and asking about this institution, and I read good opinions. Besides, I heard a few personal experiences from people who studied here.  They said that I would have to dedicate a lot of time to be a good student and that I will not sleep as much as I used to, so I will have to get use to that fact. That did not scare me, but I am starting to understand what they said.

I believe this career promotes an interesting social and ecological approach, and that was what convinced me the most to enter to this university.

During the time I have been here, I have felt satisfied with the subjects I have to study, and I find them really interesting. At first, it was very difficult to me, but I understood that I have to ‘’think outside the box’’ and start developing my creativity.

There are teachers that make me want to continue learning, and that is an important point. Sometimes, students get tired of being in a classroom where the teacher does not make them want to be better, and at the end of the semester, they feel that they learnt almost nothing because of the teaching methods.

I think the length of studies is okay, 11 semesters are not that much. Speaking about something else, I have always thought that this faculty needs more green areas. I know there’s a park just next to the faculty, but it definitely doesn’t feel the same.

Until now, I have to say that I feel very happy to study architecture in this university, I have met the best people and I am doing everything that I like.
